I had my surgery 4 1/2 years ago. I went from a size 30 to my lowest of size 8. I've been obese all my life and the last 4 1/2 years has made me realize how much I like being thin and how much better I feel.

It's really nice to hear from someon who is maintaining and so far down the line. Sometimes it's difficult to imagine what it will be like once I've had the op. Thank you.

My doctor is Harlan Opie of Olathe Kansas. He did a fantastic job and I highly recommend him.

It's nice to find a forum that I can bring my concerns and hopefully be able to answer peoples questions and/or concerns as I've pretty much gone through all of it from statistics on those who get divorced after the surgery to the malnutrition part. Thank you to everyone who has welcomed me.
