Default New and soon to be improved

HI everyone! You guys have been so insightful and so helpful in assisting me to anticipate what will happen. I just got word yesterday that I have been APPROVED for my roux-n-y and my surgery date is October 21, 2009. My doctor requires the 14 day liver shrinking diet, so anyone with information or tips on that would be greatly appreciated.

Congrats and Welcome! My doc didnt require any type of preop diet but recommended losing a few lbs for the sake of making my liver smaller. I lost almost 20 pre-op but it was really just plain old eat less and move more Im sure some of these fine folks will have some good advice for you. Good Luck!

I don't have a preop diet but I'm doing one anyway for 7 days. I start tomorrow. Protein shake for breakfast and lunch and then dinner is grilled chicken salad OR fish/veggies. Gonna rotate them so I don't get bored. Gotta do whatever I can to help them make this a success!
