Hi there and welcome,

I see from your nic that your in AZ. Where at? We have quite a few Zonies around here. I myself spent my teen years in Mesa/Chandler. Hubbies family is all over the state so we come back quite often.

The most wonderful advise I was given at the beginning was being told to get myself a copy of "WLS for Dummies". I read it cover to cover in one night, read it again to mark certain pages, and now that I am post op look things up on almost a daily basis.

Yes, I am from Phoenix. Born and raised, lived in Texas for 20+ years and came back to care for my dad and then my mom. Now it is time to care for me.
I am so glad I found the board. All of the advice has been great. I will look for the book. Is it speceifically geared for people who have had or who are thinking of having weight loss surgery?

Ok scratch that last question. I went bqack and saw in your post that it was.
