Default New in town!

Hello all,
I am scheduled for GBS on Monday Sept. 28.
I am a little anxious, but other than that I am ready to go.
I have found the information in these forums very useful.

Hello Burksj... welcome to Thinner Times.

Congratulations on making the journey. I was anxious that my surgery would be cancelled for one reason or another, but other than that, I was giddy with excitement.

IMP, I think it's best to get excited and enthusiastic about your dream. This excitement is like a forest fire - you can smell it, taste it, and see it from a mile away and in 10 days, your dream will be here. 10 days to go -- I'd call that a countdown!

Nearly 16 TEN pound bowling balls down... OMG, let me pinch myself!

I don't want to know how much I have left to lose -- I find it encouraging to see how far I've come!
