Was it the oriental lady ? I can't say that she made me feel like she knew what she was doing. I would have rather seen Dr Boone himself. And a heads up to let me know that I would NOT be seeing Dr Boone would have been nice also. Other than that, the whole experience has been good and everything went fairly quickly and smooth. The Heart Hospital was really nice, as was the staff there.

Hi and welcome. I had Higa, but sounds like we are all seeing the same docs for after care. I saw Nicole for my one week, then Alice for my one month. I really liked Alice, she was really helpful. I do think it's funny that they have you fill out a paper on your concerns, but she never looked at it. Formalities I guess. TJ, yeah I'm interested to know if you get your appt w/ Dr. Boone.
Have both of you followed the "no protein drinks" rule???

I have not used any protein drinks so far. I remember them saying they were made 'to put on weight'

I had some back pain today and called the office to see if I could take some of my celebrex. They said Dr Boone was 'very picky' and would only recommend I take ultram. So he does things a bit different than other doctors.

Well I am trying to put on muscle now that I am at my goal for weight loss so I just started drinking protein shakes. I saw Dr. Boone up until my last opp. at 6 months.

So I met with Dr. Boone yesterday. I asked for him and thats who came in and talked to me. He was really awesome about my weight loss and answered all kinds of questions I had. I was thrilled after I walked out of his office, and compared to how my six month went I had a new since of relaxation. I get stressed that I am one calorie away from 414 again and he helped me with that.
