Thank you, I definately look forward to getting rid of most of the pain with the WLS.

Welcome, Samantha. You are on your way. Hopefully, because you have already spent years at it, you won't have to do the 6 mos. pre op diet many have to do. There is lots to think about and a lot of good information here. Research away and ask what you can't find. It sounds like WLS will be well deserved. The biggest thing you have to know is that it still requires huge behavior changes. The weight loss does not come about as a result of having the surgery: the surgery allows you to eat smaller quantities and be satisfied. The rest-eating wisely and exercising-is still up to you. You are on your way and I am excited for you! Good luck!
