Default hey from central valley

Just wanted to say Hi and thanks to Ford9n and Grimis for their answers to my questions. I am hoping to have WLS before the end of the summer. I have approached this whole thing backwards I guess.

I have done my appt. with the nut. and scheduled for psych on Monday, but attended the seminar for a different doctor. I am hoping to have Dr. Boone do the surgery and will see him at the end of July.

Anyway, I am so glad for TT for all the information and support.

I am ready to start again!

Thank you for your support. I am so excited, and anxious at the same time. I am trying to keep myself busy. Thank goodness for TT to answer all my questions, concerns and keep me from driving my husband nuts talking about WLS.
If I can get my surgery scheduled for the beginning of August I will have about 10 days before I return to work. I will be starting my new school year Aug. 12th.

Any thoughts on how I will feel? Suggestions?

Ten days isn't too much time off. Some people do go back to work that quickly, but many people find they need more time. You might be cutting it kind of close.

Thanks for the suggestions, I hadn't thought about taking more time. I don't think I could handle a substitute starting a new year with my students, but maybe I could look into half days.

Also, TJ, after reading so much about pre-op diets, what should I expect from Boone?
