Default My 3 month diet

I just started here a few weeks ago. I had my meeting with the dietician and I have 3 months in which to follow her diet and lose 10 lbs for the insurance co. I am finding it to be a pain to look up every single thing I eat for calories. I was so used to Weight Watchers points!
So anyway, I am excited to be moving forward, I have a stress test this week and did my sleep study to titrate my c-pap machine. Wow, I can't wait to get rid of that thing!!
One thing I thought of that I really can't wait for is this : I can't wait until I can go to the amusement park and walk up to the rollercoasters without dreading that I won't fit in the seat. I love rollercoasters and I was waiting to ride one once and a girl could not get the seat to close and people in line were so mean and laughing and I would have been horrified if that was me and my kids had to live through that. The poor girl was hysterical and my son cried that night because he felt so bad for her. I would hate for them to feel that for me.
Just one of those things, along with being able to tie my shoes, put toenail polish on, fit in a booth at dinner, go to my son's conference at school and not worry about fitting in those dang desks, not pee everytime I laugh or sneeze......
thanks for letting me ramble,
julia in pa

Julia - use one of the online food journalling sites. Free Calorie Counter, Diet & Exercise Journal MyFitnessPal.com FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal and Calorie Counter, Diet Tracking, Food Journal, Nutrition Facts at The Daily Plate are some I like.

myfitnesspal is probably the easiest and it has a huge database of foods.

Tracking your calories, fats, carbs and proteins will be important after surgery - Sherry's thread is worth a read: What Did You Eat Yesterday (or today)?

Welcome to T-T - you're in a great place for help, advice and support.

Welcome scrapjewel. I am looking forward to the amusement parks too. I haven't been to a park in a few years for that very reason.
