Good luck. I'm not far removed from it myself. Was worth every second.

Hi Shawn, and welcome to the board. The first leg of your journey is near it's end, 5 more days and it's the start of a brand new life.

I wish that your 5 days fly by quickly and I truly hope for the best and speediest of recoveries for you. If you can't remember when you were last 'not heavy', I hope the day of what you truly want comes quickly for you, that you describe yourself as Shawn, not Shawn, that heavy guy over there.

I'm looking forward to your pics. Changes will happen rapidly, alas, men lose faster than women -- which is great news for you.

All my best!

BTW: you have an adorable family. In your pics, I see a very handsome man, and I don't see any weight issues, but then again, you're hiding behind people, so it's hard to tell.

Day 77: TTwo-terville - 53 lbs down
Day 188: Century Club - 100 lbs down
Day 366: 1 Year - 146 lbs down
Day 396: One-derland - 153 lbs gone forever! (my pic progression)

Starting BMI: 60.4 / Current BMI: 33.6

Nearly 16 TEN pound bowling balls down... OMG, let me pinch myself!

I don't want to know how much I have left to lose -- I find it encouraging to see how far I've come!
