Default Wow! I am finally going to do it!

Hi, I am new here and have found this site to be so helpful. I just wanted to thank all of you for sharing your stories, good and bad.
I finally have peace with my decision to have a gastric bypass.
At first I was only considering the lap band but the surgeon suggested that I considered the bypass. Well, it threw me into a tizzy for a bit. But I believe it is the better solution.
I am glad to be a part of this group and look forward to learning a lot from you all while I start this journey.
Now I wish it was all over already!
Julia

I honestly believe that the bypass procedure is the better solution for most people... though banding has it's place.

Being comfortable with your decision as you go forward is the best way to reduce your stress and get the giggles, because it's finally clear in your brain on what's to come, and the wonderful changes that will happen after.

Good luck to you. I wish you a speedy journey to surgery day.

Nearly 16 TEN pound bowling balls down... OMG, let me pinch myself!

I don't want to know how much I have left to lose -- I find it encouraging to see how far I've come!
