Default Protein suggestions???

I'm almost 2 months post op and I'm having a hell of a time trying to get my protein intake. I've tried several shakes, first with skim milk then with lactaid, all failed attempts. I can't stand the consistency, and I feel nauseated after. I've also tried new whey, still no luck. Any suggestions? I'm afraid if I don't find something soon I'm going to start losing muscle mass, and worst of all, my hair! My doc said I just had to keep trying until I found something that worked for me. Any helpful tips would be appreciated. By the way, I'm down about 37 lbs!

Default May I suggest

Syntrax Nectar. I hated the milky sweet shakes. Syntrax is more like Crystal light with protein. There is still a taste to it, but you just mix with water and you can make it as thin as you like. I use two scoops a day. My 2 favorite are Crystal Sky punch and Cherry.

I just tried a new one tonight. I found it in the health section of Rite Aid here in Ca. I am not entirely sure what the name is as it has in big letters 100 good for you Calories. Also in big letters is PROTEIN WATER. The label says to visit DesignerWhey.com . What I love about is it is just flavored water. The taste is minimal and I plan to dilute more with water. 20 grams of protein in one bottle. I really hoping I can continue to tolerate this as I am having the same problem you are.

This brand is good, but I personally love the sprirutein. There are lots of flavors and have sample packs. I like the simply natural the best.

I personally prefer my protein added to milk (lactaid or soy).

Fruity types just don't do well with me.

Try vitalady.com - they have the best selection of sample sized baggies - somewhere in that lot, you'll find one you like.

My favourite is Champion Pure Whey Stack - any of them but I do one scoop of that to 1/2 scoop of Spirutein in 12oz milk.
