I am having to wait longer than I would like, but.. since there is NO possibility of my getting too thin to be approved (re-approved) after the surgeon I think I want finally has time to see me (might be as late as Oct and his table is booked 3 months out from that!

), I am going to keep on plugging away at getting to be an even safer surgical candidate.

My approval came through yesterday - and I started all the work and visits in late April/May, and I could have booked with that Doc and be done (with that part) in a few weeks... but I really don't think he's the doc for me... so I am waiting. And will have to re-apply for approval WHEN (and if) I like the second doc I have found.

*sigh*

All in good time I keep telling myself. All in good time.

The good news is its not long my first contact was made on 25-05-08 and my date was booked on 03-06-08 (9DAYS)

pending them recieving my deposit. Although his dates are limited i could have gone out in the begining of July but the end suited me better as my hubby is on holidays and can come with me.
So dont think there would be a problem fitting you in sometime in the summer. Why dont you take the bull by the horns and make contact and find out dates your not tied down untill you pay a deposit.......
Good luck, this stage is exciting and nerve wrecking but when its booked well i have no nerves just cant wait to begin the WLS journey.
