Default From Band to sleeve....

Hi all,

My name is Candice, I am from Perth West Australia.
I had a band in a few years ago, and although I lost 20 kilos with the band, I was left very unhealthy, and they had to remove the band.
I am now a sleever and am doing well, and have finally found a forum where I fit. I would like to share my story with you even though I am no longer a bander.
To cut a long story short, I am here to meet any others like me.
Im 29, work in the city, and have a lot of weight to lose still.
I think that may help with my into..

Thanks all,
Candice.

Hi Candice and welcome to TT. There is a section here for ppl who have had the VSG procedure. It is new so there aren't many ppl who message there. I haven't had weight loss surgery yet but would love to have the sleeve, but do to my health care I will probably end up having the RNY. I hope that you will fine this forum helpful.

Hi Candice,
I am so nervous!
What are the major differences between what you could eat when it comes to sleeve v band? What is the easiest to live with? I don't drink much alcohol but love to still go out to lunch with the girls and we do like our wine-a lot.I realise I will have to have small meals but what happens when I want my wine? Is it out with the sleeve.Just read thread about only being able to sip fluids 30mins before and after meal or you throw up/pain etc.Realise you are a relative newby to this but what is your opinion/experience?
