Default Hello! Newb here from Miami

Hi, my name is inky-e and I live in Miami FL. My surgery date was Feb. 26 2007. I used to weigh 330 lbs at 5' 10". I got down to 187 lbs at my peak. I am an avid weight lifter- body builder enthusiast. I've been working out since 2 mos out. I have taken my body to an extreme as far as the transformation from fat to fit. I really embrace my healthy lifestyle. I'm still eating good clean foods and I don't see that changing any time soon. I currently weigh 200 lbs, I just finished a 3 month bulking diet where I put on almost 20 lbs, mostly muscle. I'm back to my normal; diet and have dropped a few lbs of fat that came along with the muscle weight. I am a member of other forums, one being a body building forum and another is similar to this one. I am more than willing to be of help to anyone with questions on exercise and diet.

I'm in Miami too, I just had my surgery two weeks from tomorrow, I'm doing daily walking, but I hope to start doing weight training soon. Congratulations on all your success!

Congrats Erica! You have an excellent attitude! Exercise is so important. The WLS is just a tool to lose weight , exercise and a good attitude to clean and healthy eating goes along with it. You'll do fine if you keep that state of mind. ,...........INKY!
