Hello to anyone reading...
I have been reading all of your posts for a few months now and havent posted accept for a couple private messages. The support I have gotten from you guys without you even knowing has been amazing!! LOL!!
The reason for my post is that I just got THE CALL and my surgery has been scheduled for June 9th!! OMG!!
Did anyone else feel a little bit weird when they first got this call with an actual date?? Like Holy *(&^ this is really happening??
I have so many emotions running through me........

Congratulations on getting your date Julia! I can understand your emotions. I am still waiting to get a confirmed date, but tentatively, I'm scheduled for 6/20.

It's actually quite surreal at this moment.
She called and told me she had great news... I was approved!! Then told me my surgery is on the 9th and I need to be at Pre Op meeting on the 4th to meet with the anesthesiologist, the nutritionist, the doctor, the nurse, the support group director..........
whoa!! it's just so crazy...

I hope it happens for you SOON!! Set in stone!!

Yes, you just reminded me of how I felt when I got the call. I was even more "freaked" out because they were willing to give me a date in two weeks but I opted for a later date because I wanted be prepared and ready for the change.
It is always exciting to read when others get approved and a date. Congrats and best wishes to you.

Thank you!! Of course today I noticed some posts from "BOB" where he says the surgery is "killing him" UGH!! That stuff makes me nervous!!! but i'm still looking forward and confident with my decision!!
