Smile I'm Back! Missed you!

My name is Connie and I participated in this forum 2 years ago. Since then I have gone AWOL from this group but would like to reintroduce myself and connect.
I live in San Diego and underwent bypass surgery with Dr. Callary in March 2005. I am 5'3" and I weighed 289 prior to surgery and am now 133. I have had a wild weight loss experience and was 98lbs. at one point. I am now learning to maintain and would like to loose 5 lbs because I feel more freedom when I am lighter and my cloths fit better.
I am interested in support group meetings in and around San Diego. If you know of any, please let me know.
Good to be back
Connie

Welcome back to the forum Connie, that is great that you are keeping the weight off.

Was 98 lbs too low of a weight for your body? I get comments from people now telling me I have lost enough, which I know I have reached my goal, however due to having abdominoplasty and loosing weight afterward I have additional skin, which eventually I will have removed(in 9 months), but staying within a healthy zone and feeling good about our bodies like you are talking about I think is key in the maintaining area.

Good luck and hope you get some answers for a support group.
