Smile Dropping In

In the three years since my original weight loss surgery many things have occurred. The greatest being increased health and the rediscovery of the life I failed to live wholeheartedly while morbidly obese. The realization of my limitations and inability to do the things that I loved was more than I could bear. I was fortunate to escape the usual physical ailments and complications that weight provides. Nonetheless the feeling remains that more must be done.

Like many I settled into a state of contentment, quietly relishing the pounds that were shed. But the story remains unfinished and I'm ready to begin again. The discovery of this forum is an important step in my personal quest to free my body from the makeshift shell I've come to know most of my life. My plateau has not arrived and I view this as confirmation that I must continue.

I look forward to growing and sharing with you all.

Hello and welcome.

I haven't had my Lap RNY surgery yet. I'm waiting on my insurance to approve me. I can't wait to start my new life.

Default Welcome

Welcome Chrysalis,

That is great that you are taking an active part in the surgery you had 3 years ago. I can see where it could have been easy for me to stay content after I had lost a particular amount of weight.

I hope people will read what you posted here, although it was brief, it had an important message and thanks for coming to share it. I was encouraged by your words. By the way I achieved my goal of weightloss yesterday.

Wishing you alot of success to come and look forward to reading more of your encouraging words.
