Default Has anyone had to get an angiagram before surgery

Hi all, I have been in pre op since 2/6/08. Have completed all pre testing and required dr visits, my last requirement was to get a cardio clearance, well that lead to me having 2 thallion stress done, both came back abnormal, so now I have to have an angiagram performed next week. Just wondering if this is routine or if I do have blockages?? Do you think will damper my having Gastric Bypass surgery? I just found this out today, so I am still in shock and confused. I appreciate any feed back on having an agiagram?
Thanks and good luck to all!!!

I haven't had my surgery yet but I have had an angiogram done about 5 years ago. It is no big deal. The hardest part for me was afterwards, where you can't move at all for I think 7 hours (well it seemed that long). You are lying flat on you back. My back was so sore and I was grateful when I could sit up. Otherwise, no pain or anything.

good luck!
