Hi Everyone. I am not so sure if you remember me or not, but I have been lurking. I am currently playing the insurance game and going through the 6 months supervision with my Bariatric Surgeon. So tell me if anyone has heard of this. My insurance will pay for my surgery after 6 months of being supervised but will not pay for any nutritional counseling with the dietician. Has anyone else run into this problem or is this classic? Thanks.

My insurance paid for surgery and the dietician (nutritionist) but not he psych evaluation. What a waste of 350.00 this was. But well worth it to have this amazing surgery. I think it just varies with insurances. Good luck

My insurance covered all of it except for a co-pay....Surgeon, Internist appointment, Behaviorist and Exercise therapist.
