Smile Good Morning All! So happy to have found you!!!

Hi, I am Katie and had RNY on 12-17-04. Happily lost from 293 to 170, slowly but steadily. Now I have lost my way (now at 195 or so) and eating the wrong foods and picking up old habits. I saw the 5 day Pouch Test Plan on tv last week and after looking over the plan and consulting with my dh, I decided 'why not?'. So, this morning after my first protein drink and coffee I decided to see just what is going on in the world of WLS and get my life back on track! So far, so good!

Bear with me as I try to figure out how to use all of the helpful tools on this site.

So happy to find this forum and look forward to lots of info and sharing! Thank you and have a wonderful Monday! (It's raining in Richmond, VA, but we need it!)

Welcome Katie.

I've heard that the 5 day pouch test helps in getting people back on track - best of luck with it but yell if you need support - we're a good bunch.

Thank you! Later in the day, I may need some strong support!!

I HAVE to get back into my new clothes! I've gained 20 lbs since the first of December and all of my spring/summer things are about a size or 2 too small. .....not a good thing.

Anyway, thanks for the welcome and watch for my cries for help!!

Hey Cindy,

For me it's either lose some weight or buy new clothes - again. And shopping right now is not an option. Not with new clothes in the closet with tags still on them....

I suppose that's a good incentive for me....I just hope it's enough!

Welcome Katie
I love the new clothes buying thing and is a big motivation for me.
I am glad to see you catching this at 20 lbs and getting yourself back on track.
Stay conected here and you'll appreciate the experience of the others to give you some motivation to continue on your great success in changing.
Give it your best shot and do it Katie.
All the best to you.

I thought I'd say hi, Katie - I'm also from the Richmond area. Where did you have your surgery?

Hej Katie!
There is a newly formed "5 day Pouch Test Group" for those who want to start together. Cinerbelle (Cindy) suggested some of us join her on Monday when she starts - are you joining us too? Hope so - I'm in!
Cheers!
Vim
