Surgery is not a cure-all to everything that's for sure. Tell us a little about your journey the past 3 years.

Default More info on my surgeries

Hi guys,
Well to answer the surgeries part; I have had a circumferential abdominoplasy, which removed 28 lbs of skin. I wanted that surgery. I was really happy after all was said and done. However, it was a very long and painful recovery from that on. The next year, around the same time as the CA I was diagnosed with two dermoid cyst on my ovaries which at the time they didn't know was cyst. They thought it was cancer. They took the cyst off both ovaries and removed my uterus due to fibroids. I recouperated, and the next year, same time, I was back in surgery to have the ovaries and tubes completely removed due to endometriosis. The major problem is that my Plastic surgeon did such an excellent job tightning me up that it made the other sugeries very difficult. All that time they had me on Oxycotin, which I had to have something for the pain, which inturn numbed me from feeling full or anything else. It also stopped the dumping symdrome, so if I did ead something with carbs, I couldn't tell.

Hope This will help someone in the future,
Tammy

wow....quite a lot on your plate, so to speak. I hope that things simmer down for you and you can begin to take off at least some of the weight that you had regained. 28 lbs of skin! wow...how much had u originally lost?

Why not just try going back to the basic diet that helped you lose the weight to begin with? Good luck.
