Smile Hello from a Newbie

Hello eneryone,

I am looking into getting the gastric bypass surgery here in Washington State by Dr. Boch. I have just started the process and it looks like I may get my surgery in the late summer. It is amazing reading and looking at everyones process. I only hope I can get the results everyone here has done.

Hey Rob, welcome aboard. I'm sure you'd get the same results as the rest of us have. This is a great tool to work with. Keep us posted on your status.

Hi Rob! Welcome to TT! It's quite the adventure... I'm on the "2nd leg" so to speak, just had my surgery a few weeks ago --- now I'm trying to figure out this new little pouch of mine!

This is the place for help and support --- and we have a good time while at it!

Welcome to you Rob, glad you have found this site. You can gain alot of insite and knowledge from posting here and reading what others have experienced. I am a northwesterner, originally from Portland, Oregon where I was born and lived most of my life, until moving here to Italy almost 2 years ago.
Hope to hear from you again.

Welcome to our humble forum! Great place, awesome people! And I'll tell you what my surgeon told me when I wasn't sure this surgery would work (nothing else had!)..."You have this surgery....you WILL lose weight!".

That said...you need to follow the pouch rules...

Good luck to you!
