hey, my surgery is set for Nov 6,2007, im ready to get it over with...I have a birthday this month ill be 54 ...anyone out there who has had the surgery that is my age...

and sixties.. successful post opt 22 months. Minus 135lbs.. from a size 26 to size 12-14 ..

I am 48 and had my band fitted 6 weeks ago. I want to fit and fab for 50 lol

Now that my surgery date is getting near !! Nov 6...Im on edge and excited also...Heartis racing..dose everyone feel this way before surgery ??

Had a cold so I could not have surgery on Nov 6...I have it on Nov 20 now that is in 4 days..They told me they will not do surgery on anyone who has any sign of a cold..My emotions has been running wild..My husband will have his surgery on Dec 11... I trust that God will take care of us ..and that we are doing the right thing..This site has help me so much..I have spent hours reading everything and about everyone..still not done yet..I'm sure it will be a great help to me after surgery also..So thanks to everyone and keep us in your prayers..

Welcome Jan! We are happy you found us! Sorry about your cold and your date being cancelled, but at least you are on your way now. A few short days! Let us know how you are doing when you get home safe and sound and hit us with any questions you may have....that's what we are here for. This is an amazing group.
