Hi Claire,
WELCOME!
Are you getting enough fluids?
I find that when I am fighting "head hunger" (which is most likely the problem), I have to drink drink drink my fluids...and concentrate on eating the high protein foods that will stay in my pouch longer and keep me satisfied longer. Best of luck to you.
This is why we say this is NOT the easy way out!

Hi, and welcome to the TT board!!

I agree with Lynda - liquids and, when you are able to (according toyour surgeon), proteins proteins and more proteins.

Also, if you are up to it, walk around a lot. Activity and mind distraction helps.

You may want to consider posting on the "post op" category for Gastric Bypass, and you will get more responses to your question.

Welcome to the TT board - a great place for information.

Default Welcome!

Yup, what they all said! Also, I've been told that if you think you're hungry, you're actually thirsty. So...sip, sip sip!
