Default Burning and cramping

This is my first entry. I am happy I found people who understand. I need help. I am 11 days post-op. I am having an intense burning sensation when I sit and stand. My stomach also feels like it is cramping. I have to hold it every time I move. Is this normal? I had so much energy and drive to walk the first few days out of the hospital.

I am following directions. I feel that something is not right.

Not sure if this helpful but I had a horrible burning sensation at one of my incisions areas for a couple weeks.

I think a call to the surgeon is appropriate here.

Default burning / cramping

Yes, I called earlier in the week. They told me it sounded normal and to take liquid tylenol. They have a hotline number that I called Sat and today. They did not respond.

Thanks for the advice. I am calling or maybe just going in there in the morning. It's no better today.

I finally got an explanation for my problem. The surgeon's PA said my pain on my left side is from a suture that is pulled tightly on that side. It is a long suture through lots of tissue. It should ease after a month when the suture dissoves.

Right now my new heating pad is my best friend. It helps more than the tylenol. I am finding that I feel better each time I get out and exercise. I am walking. I am now 15 days post-op (bypass-lap).

Thanks for all the help.
