Wink Hi from North Carolina

I am 3 weeks post op... with little complaints... feeling better than I have felt in a long time. I am originally from west virginia, moved to north carolina about 8 years ago and loving every minute of it. Kinda stumbled upon your forum and wanted to say hi to everyone.

Welcome here! I just joined yesterday and I'm from NC as well! What area are you from? I had surgery in May of this year, so I'm sorta a newbie to the surgery as well. :P Look forward to seeing you around!

Wink Thanks for the warm welcome

For the NC residents I am in Charlotte... doing real good, my pouch has decided that it wants no parts of chicken wings, I baked some for a dinner we were having in class and whewwwww.... I separated mine and mushed them up pretty good... I can do chicken breast, but not wings... ewww. As far as the exercising it has been mainly indoors, just because of the sun thank goodness for my stationary bike... and housework, I make everything I do into a workout routine. I have been doing okay with getting my protein down, I take in about 60 grams a day, which is what my surgeon set as the requirement. How about caloric intake, I am close to 500 and that is counting my protein...
