Just wanted to say all your stories are inspiring me. I am having my lapband surgery on Tuesday. I am going through a wave of emotions

right now. I just hope I am making the right choice.

I started my journey in March weighing 309 lbs, I was still carrying some pregnany weight.

Today I weigh 283, my doctor's goal and mine is 145-160. I would love to be around 150.

I am from CT and I am 30 years old. I am married and I have a 9 month old daughter Isabella.

All you can do is be positive and be informed. Read this forum top to bottom. It helps to feel like you know what to expect...physically and emotionally...to be prepared.

And hopefully when all is said and done, you will be healthier and be able to spend better quality time with your little one.
