Hey my name is Erick i just registered 4 this site just wanted 2 say hello, i`m also in new jersey and i had my surgery done jan of 2007...i had my surgery in englwood hospital my doctor`s name is dr. ibrahim...i never really got personal with my doctor or his team the nurse is pretty nice and the guy that handles the insurance claims is pretty nice also...there were no complications what so ever to my surgery and i am seeing incredible results it was quick and pretty much painless aside from being pretty sore when i woke up....just thought i`d share my 2 cents ;-)

I am going to have my surgery with Dr. Ballentyne at Hackensack. Came highly recommended. My PCP's partner had surgery with him.

Hey Lisa,

I am from North Jersey and i had my surgery done back in may! now i really didn't look around for doctors too much i just got referred to one by a family member who had the surgery done and she had great results! His name is Dr. Trivedi, out of Hackensack and had my surgery in the same hospital 2 blocks away from his offices so i saw him or one of his members of his team every day. I also did a little research on him and his team, and there are rated the number 1 team in NJ with the most amount of gastric bypass surgeries, and they have people from all over the world that go to have the surgery done by his team(when i went for a visit he told me he had a patient fly in from Bermuda) I find them to be very professional and very helpful, the entire team.. from the secretary to the surgeon himself. Very nice and helpful. I got mines done in may and i am doing fine no complications at all, and I've lost 75+ pounds. Ill send you a PM wit more info! Hope this helps

Hi all,

I am from Union City,NJ, and I had my Lap Band done 9/5. My surgeon is Dr. Daniel Davis located in Ridgewood. He is affiliated with Valley Hospital and did an excellent job on my surgery. The Lap was covered by my insurance currently have Oxford and company I work for will be switching us over to Aetna. But just wanted to provide info. on my Dr. for those who are looking for one in Jersey.
