There are so many of us joining the board...I just wanted to welcome you all at the same time. I joined a couple of weeks ago...the information here is incredible so I encourage you all to search for the topics you are looking for answers to. I have found the pre-op & post-op sections under Gastric Bypass
especially helpful.

I'm still waiting for final approval by insurance so I don't know when my surgery date is. Once I have that I will do pre-op testing, meet with a nutrtionist & then off to surgery. Wheeee!! It's a hectic process but from the results on this board & the people I know who have the lap RNY it's well worth it.
