Wink Another soon to be loser!

This is my first post I have been hanging around here for a while. I tried to have GBS 2 years ago the insurance where I worked turned me down. That was crushing. Now we have changed insurance companys again and I have decided to try again. I have attened the siminar and have my letter from my Dr. and my psychological evaluation again. Ready to hear YES this time. Since the last try I have developed diabetes and high cholestrol. I have done my home work and I'm so ready for a change even started taking chantix to stop smoking. I figure life style change all the way around. To day is my birthday and my Dr told me this could add 8-10 years to my life.
I will keep my fingers cross it happens this time. I have really enjoyed the words of wisdom I have found here. You should have be proud of yourselfs for helping so many people you haven't even meet yet. You never know whos lurking around!!
Any way Hello everyone.

Welcome Carla! You will learn a lot here. Everyone is very supportive. If you have any questions as silly as they may seem they do get answered. No question is silly. We have all been in your shoes. Good luck!

Welcome to the forum!! We will be praying that you get your insurance approval soon. Dorene was a diabetic when we started looking into WLS but now she is being weaned off all her meds. This surgery has done miracles in both our lives.

Good Luck

Jim and Dorene

Welcome to Thinner Times and Happy Birthday! Good luck to you, hey, have you called you insurance first to see if they cover gbp? That would be a great question to ask them. Good luck again!
