Default fianlly able to say hi!!

Hiya every1,

For some months now i have been trying to register so i could join in and say hi to you all but I kept being rejected!!!.. I'm a really good friend of Celtic-Toni and before I had my operation she told me this site would answer all my questions and she was soo right.. So thank you everyone for being so honest in sharing. I had my operation on the 4th may in Belgium and so far so good. I have had some wild roller coster few months, both physically and emotionally... There should be a warning that not being able to eat can cause such such emotional heart ache.. and yes i think i'm fianaly moving away from my food grieving period. I'm currently 42lb down which i'm a little down about but suppose i would have never been able to do it without the op!!

so anyho enough of my ramblings and hey nice to finally meet ya all.

265lbs/223/healthy
5ft 2... op 4th May 2007

Default Brugge Babes!!

Ooops I typed Brugge Babes in stead of Brugge Babies in the Title and when I was busy correcting it I thought nooo hang on a minute - I like the sound of that I think we shall call ourselves the Brugge Babes from now on

I am having the Lap RNY and CAN'T WAIT!!! Just waiting for my finance to be approved - hopefully any day now.....

Tell us a bit more about yourself?

Default brugge babies sounds fine!!!

i had the same op!! got no finance so i had to pay myself it was expensive but i figured that i had one chance in this life and to go for it..
Two of my friends had the same op, doctor and weight issues so i watched them and how well they had done, so they were like my living guinne pigs and when it finally got to the point that i could no longer carry that other person around on my butt, back, chins and tummy I went for it....
cant really think of anything else to tell you only that i'm 30 next feb and dont want to have no food/body control in my 30s like i had in my 20's and teens

Hey Lindsey - welcome!

I am another Brugge Babe (good call Gwen!).

I had my surgery in September last year and it really is the best decision I have ever made!

I also know Celtic Toni a little but haven't seen her around on here in a while. Hope she is doing ok?

This place is fabulatastic - the people here are really friendly, welcoming and a complete fountain of knowledge - enjoy it!
