I Am Considering Lap-band Surgery. I Weigh 230 And My Bmi Is 40. I Am 100 Over My Goal Weight Which Is 125. I Am Really Scared About The Procedure Because I've Never Had Surgery Before. Is The Recovery Really Bad?

Weight Loss Surgery for Dummies It's a good book, especially for those that haven't had the surgery yet, but honestly there is nothing in there that is not covered by this Forum. It is, however, very good if you do not have access readily to this community and also if you want to pass it to a friend or relative as a concise way of explaining what it's all about  XXX

Hey Thanks For The Navigation Advice It Helps Alot.my Name Is Karla I Am Also New To The Forum.i Am Schelduled To Have My Surgey Dec 6th 2007 If My Preop Blood Work Etc Is Where Dr Castro Wants It.
I Am So Glad I Found This Forum Looking At The Before And After Pictures Are Great And It Really Inspires Me To Keep Looking Towards My Goal.
