Unhappy

I Am Considering Lap-band Surgery. I Weigh 230 And My Bmi Is 40. I Am 100 Over My Goal Weight Which Is 125. I Am Really Scared About The Procedure Because I've Never Had Surgery Before. Is The Recovery Really Bad?

Hi Ya

I'm afraid that's a difficult one to answer as it is different for everyone!

I came back from Brugge (Belgium) feeling like I've been on a small holiday and haven't had any pain at all

Your Surgeon makes a big difference - do your research on him and ask him how many of these operations he has done?

Good luck

i just discover your thread now. Excellent work of consolidation and pinpointing the essentials. Bravo Gwen. Concerning the book for dummies: is it still worth to read it after the GBP surgery?
I hope you do fine.
Take care

Exclamation Weight Loss Surgery for Dummies

Hi Marine

Weight Loss Surgery for Dummies

It's a good book, especially for those that haven't had the surgery yet, but honestly there is nothing in there that is not covered by this Forum. It is, however, very good if you do not have access readily to this community and also if you want to pass it to a friend or relative as a concise way of explaining what it's all about
