Default Welcome Jerry!!

Hi there and welcome to the family!

I am also a newbie - only joined in July 2007 and still pre-opp.

Not really sure whether you need these pointers but anyway - As I know how intimidating this forum can be when you first start exploring it I thought I'd give all the newbies a few pointers as to the threads that made an impression on me:

Pouch Rules for Dummies - posted by Baron Patrick

The things people wish they had known beforehand - compiled by LisaM

I have also been asked to add the book "Weight Loss Surgery for Dummies" to this list, I have not read it myself but plan on ordering it via Amazon today - full review to follow shortly

Have a great time and I look forward to following your journey!

PS: If any of the "oldies" have any other threads to bring to our attention please let me know and I will add it to my list.

Hugs

Oh yeah Lynda....we constantly have to keep this fella in line! *L* He and Luna are a deadly combination!! At this point they have me shakin' in my boots....they are in cahoots together and planning something during the time I'm in the hospital for my PS. The rumor has it they are coming in costume. You need to keep an eye on this one for sure.

As long as you don't bust a stitch when they visit you, it's okay with me. I love that you guys get to hang out together.

That's what I'm afraid of...that they are going to have me bustin' stitches!!

*L*...actually we do have fun. Doug "Jerry" is a member of my little support group, you just never know what may come out of his mouth....his poor wife usually ends up rolling her eyes at him most of the evening. *L*
