Yup, not just a roller coaster- it's the biggest, bad a** ride you'll ever be on! Some weeks everything has been on an even keel; some weeks a sad song would have me weeping! I'm 6 months out, going through menopause, and planning my wedding 8 weeks away. Rollercoaster? Oh yeah, but we'll both come here for a little grounding, a little reassurance that we're not going crazy. Right? Right! Hang in there!

Default Welcome Lisa!!

Hi there and welcome to the family!

I am also a newbie - only joined in July 2007 and still pre-opp.

As I know how intimidating this forum can be when you first start exploring it I thought I'd give all the newbies a few pointers as to the threads that made an impression on me:

PS: If any of the "oldies" have any other threads to bring to our attention please let me know and I will add it to my list.

Omega - what is your surgeon making you do on the day before surgery as far as a "bowel" prep? Are you home today, prepping?
