Red face Newby on the block

I am new to the forum and have been reading a few posts. I think I'm more scared now than I was before. I had my consultation last week and am tentatively scheduled for Sept. 27. Seems like that was way too easy. Still waiting for insurance though. Wondering if I am making the wrong decision?
Am tired of feeling yukky and wish I could have a guarantee that all would be great.
Cold Feet??? Suggestions greatly appreciated.

Thanks for input.

it was so worth it for me! I would go through it all again if I had too! it has changed my life in so many ways.
1- I am so much healthier
2- I am so active
3- I enjoy cooking now and get excited about all the healthy foods we eat. I feel so much better
4- my skin looks so much healthier
5- my clothes fall off LOL its funny but awesome!

Best wishes!

Well, you should be nervous and a little scared! That is perfectly normal. It is major surgery, after all. Now, most peeps here, including the ones who have had some complications, would do it again. Read the Personal threads; you'll get the good, the bad, and the ugly. The more info you have, the easier you'll feel.
Good luck!

Thumbs up

Welcome: now put some socks on those cold feet. Everything will work out just fine. Everyone has the same feelings before the surgery its a natural thing, to feel that way, its the fear of the unknown. Ask lots of questions and study up on alot of the posts here. You have found a great supportive group here.......Scott

It's life changing! And every change is for the better (personally speaking!).

But feel it in your heart, in your gut. If you feel that it's right, then it's the right thing.
