Hello!! Nice to meet you!
My wife and I both had WLS in May. Jane had diabetes and had been through several medications. The last one was something synthesized from Gila Monster saliva! Anyway... Within about 4 weeks after the surgery, she was able to come off all her diabetes medications! The speed of the improvement is amazing. She was off her high blood pressure medication at about the same time too.

Good things are coming your way for you and those kids!!!

mike and jane, nice to meet ya. it is good to know about someone else having diabetes and wls helped them. as you can imagine, i am scared that if i go thru this and it doesnt help me with my diabetes. but i am thinking positive and am very excited in another way to know that i will hopefully be a different person with more energy. regi
