approved and terrified
I am new to this site and want to say hello. I am from Michigan and just found out today that I have been approved for the surgery. I am thrilled and terrified. It is a little scary but I am so looking forward to feeling better about myself and being able to do many more things.

Congrats on the approval! Being terrified is a normal feeling it is a very important step that your taking.... you will be very, very happy in the long run

Normal to be scared
If you weren't scared, you would't be thinking clearly. However, if you've done your research, know your surgeon's stats etc. You know you'll be fine.

Welcome! I see your doctor is Dr. Kam, also of Barix in Ypsilanti. My doctor will be Dr. Schram (I haven't been approved yet).
Barix is a terrific place -- but I am sure you already know that!
I can't wait to follow your journey, and to make my own "I'm Approved!" announcement!

No surgery date yet, just found out yesterday that I was approved. They said they would be calling. Have you had the surgery?
