Default Good Morning! and Welcome!

One of the most important things I or anyone here can tell you is to take it easy the first few weeks. You may be feeling great, but if you over do it you will pay for it the next day, so just really take it easy for a couple of weeks. There is some major healing that's going on. Congratulations on you're 11 pounds so far. I can't believe how fast some people lose weight. Looking forward to hearing more updates from you.

Sharon

Congratulations on your surgery. My surgeon told me that 2 to 2 1/2 yrs of research and thinking is the usual for those of us who go ahead with the surgery. It's natural to be uncertain and frightened of the unknown. And you've done the right thing, you found a palce to ask questions, get answers from those ahead of you on this wild ride and somewhere to voice your thoughts and feelings. Take comfort in the fact that almost all of us are doing fine. Some have had it rougher than others, but even they have maintained contact here and help us all learn about their side of this experience. So this is what I have to say to you, you've taken the plunge, now enjoy the 'water' -

Welcome to the board, and grats on the surgery! There really are no stupid questions.. and if anyone laughs.. you'll never know it.. cuz by the time they type.. the laughter will be gone! Keep us posted on your progress.. 11 pounds in 3 days (especially considering the fact that you normally GAIN in the hospital!).. is remarkable!
