Default Finally an Intro

Well, I am not new to this site but I have never formally introduced myself I am 26 years old and married to a wonderful husband in april of last year. I had the lap band in 2004 and I only lost about 15 lbs then had some other complications like GERDS and chest pains due to the band. Then sought out to get this thing removed in my journey to get it removed I decided to get a revision to the RNY. I had surgery on July 23rd 2007 monday to be exact. And I came home yesterday. So far I have been doing good. But I did have my weak moments as you all may have already seen. My family has been really great lately trying not to each smelly good things in front of meeh at least until I can eat with foods with some flavors which is today woohoo. I am finally on a clear liquid diet. Chicken broth here I come. I hope this works I am so scared this is going to have the same fate as the band did. but this time I determined to make this work. I took my vitamins and my regular pills today so far no dumping I think I drank a little too much early and had a little tightness but stopped and now feel better. Well I am so excited to take this journey with others who have gone before meeh this site has helped so much and I sure it will help with my success too. I was just wondering I didnt get a dr goal for weight did everyone get one from there doc should I ask. I started at a weight of 252 lbs and at surgery I was at 248 lbs so I just want to be under 200 lbs at this point so right now my goal is 190 lbs but I don't want to stop there I think 130 would be best for meeh. So now I am just rambling I just wanted to formally introduce myself and I am looking foward to meeting everyone at rain's party next month. I will share my personal stories later I am going to have a whole lot of time on my hands that next few weeks. talk to you all soon. PS its so hard to get 64 oz of water down a day it does get better right?

Hi Chance, welcome home. This should work MUCH better for you. Do everything your doctor tells you. Sip sip sip on the fluids and do the best you can. It indeed DOES get better!

Hi Chance! That is a very interesting name. I really like it. Perhaps you should use that as your sign-in because you certainly don't seem like a beeotch.

I think you are going to be very happy with your decision most of the time. We all have our moments. Ha Ha!

Anyway... congratulations on your chicken broth! It's going to be delicious!!
