I have not had that, but I sure hope that this corrects itself quickly. Have you been to the doctor? Are you waiting for test results? Keep us posted as to what you find out.

It could be what they call a stricture. But anything that keeps you from eating or drinking should be seen by a doc......I'd head to your surgeon, sometimes ER docs aren't very well educated on the bypass. Let us know how it goes and that you are ok!!

Default News from the surgeon!

Hi, everyone!I went to the surgeon on Fri. and he said that my liver enzyemes are a little on the high side of normal but my amyeles are too high and he's hoping that they will come down on their own.If not it could possibly mean pancritis! I go back to him in 2 weeks to see if they have come down any or not!!I'm just praying that everything will work out and he also gave me an RX for a patch that goes behind my ear that has helped with the nausea!!And so far those have been a hit!!I still can't drink the protein shakes so I'm eating foods that are high in protein to get in my daily 75grams!But usually I don't make quiet that somewhere around 65 to 73 but I figure thats better than nothing!!Thank you everyone for your comments and encouragement, I'm really glad that I found this site!!Have a great week!!

I'm glad that you are doing o.k. Things are rough sometimes in the beginning. You may look back on this experience a year from now and smile on it. I' ll keep you in my prayers.
