Hello
Hi all my name is Timothy and I am 28 years old currently living in Detroit Michigan. I am 5"11 and 405 and I have been on a constant diet roller coster all my life. I just found that my insurance will pay 100 percent of the gastric and reconstruction with precertification, so I made an appointment for today to get the process started. I was referred to the doctor I am going to see today because she helped 10 of my co-workers get the procedure approved by the insurance company and they all didn't have as much weight to loss as myself. Wish me luck as I start out on this road. I will be coming here for advice and to learn from other peoples experiences.
Thank you for your time,
Timothy

Thank you all for the welcome
Well today was interesting because it was with my new primary doctor. She put me through a few test and is sending me out to get two heart tests done, a sleep test, a 5 hour test to see how I process my sugars or whatever I do not remembere the name. Oh and got me in with a *shrink* who speciality is eatting disorders. This is a lot and I know that there will be more, oh oh and she had me give a detailed description of all my diets that I have ever been on and she stapled it into my file. She wants me to get all this done in two weeks and then come back to see if she will refer me to the gastric surgon. Does this all seem the norm to you? I am just nervous about this process.
I also promise my future posts will make more sense I am just super tired from today.
