Default Psych eval is done!!

I got a thumbs up from the Psychiatrist. His name is Thomas Gallagher with PsyCare in La Mesa/College area. He had only nice things to say about Dr. Callery.

We talked about my history with depression/anxiety and warned me that I have a 90% chance of it coming back. Talked about my family and medical history. Pretty easy and only took about 30-45 minutes. He drafted his recommendation letter there with me.

If your insurance has PsyCare listed for behavior management, give em a call and ask for Dr. Gallagher.

That's great news! One hurdle down.

I was kinda worried with mine. The doc. came in and caught me peeling the wallpaper and eating it.

It's funny, I've noticed that with all the pre-op we have to go through, the psych. eval seems to rattle everyone's cages, and turns out (for most) to be the easiest.

Be sure to call your surgeon and ins. company to ensure the report has been sent. This can really hold things up!

Congrats.

I am so glad I didn't have to go through the psych part, I probably would have failed anyway.
