Default Newbie- Had surgery 12 Jun

Hi all- I am happy and excited to say that hopefully by this time next year I will be at my goal weight.

I had the Lap Band surgery on 12 Jun.

I have been reading some of the posts and looking for recipes.... I am exciting about starting soft food next week!

Any advice or good soft food recipes would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Thumbs up

Thats is easy follow your clinics instructions and do not waver. You get into trouble when your start thinking" Well I would like just a little more" or I would like to try just a taste of that. For me being hard and fast about the eating rules given me, have made all the difference.

By the way June 12 is a great day it is our wedding anniversary. We have been married for 31 great years. Because of this surgery I have hope of going another 31.

Take care

Default Welcome

Congratulations on your surgery. Look over the list of soft foods given to you by your nutritionist. Once you know what is allowed, search this forum for postings on soft foods and recipes. Be sure to use recipes that only have your allowed foods. Every surgeon has differing post-op instructions.

Best wishes for continued success and recovery. Stay in touch and keep us updated on your progress. You have found a great place for support and information.
