Hi Timmysgirl! Welcome.
Everybody's different...my best tolerated protein drink was the Isopure clear liquids (not shakes) I found them at The Vitamin Shoppe, and GNC.

Default Welcome Timmysgirl!

Glad you found this wonderful place, you will find so much support and lots of information.

Personally, I found the protein powders difficult to tolerate. I had the best luck with Nectar brand's Roadside Lemonade and the Unjury brand powders. I soon went to the clear protein like the IsoPure Lynda mentioned. It's pretty much trial and error, can be expensive. Some places let you return if you find you can't tolerate it. Some places let you buy samples to see how you like it before investing in a bigger quantity. Try using the search option here and put in protein, you'll get a wealth of information.

Best wishes on your recovery and welcome to the loser's bench!

Default Welcome!

I like the Atkins choc shakes- but they have to be real cold!
Also- add powdered milk to everything! Add extra powder to your shakes, your coffee, your soup, your pudding! (I learned that here!)
Good luck!

Welcome to the forum. I still can't do the protein shakes, so good luck. I have an easier time with cheese.
