Default newbie and need help!

Hello, I really enjoy these boards. I've learned so much already. Like protein first, veggies then fruit. I've been way off the wagon. I had my surgery in 98. I've lost a total of 160 pounds and need to lose more. I've come to a stand still and I know it's the way I've been eating. So, I'm getting right back on the wagon and eating right. Also, I hope to make alot of new friends. I can use all the help I can get. Thanks!

Welcome to the forums! I'm sort of a newbie myself, but I'm always up for making new friends.. Congrats on the weight you've already lost, that is an accomplishment in and of itself.

I am only three months out so I don't know how much help I can be. But I would start back from square one. Start eating small portions, chew, chew, chew, drink your water and start all over like you just have surgery again. So back to the roots of what and why you decided to have the surgery to begin with. You have come so far...don't turn back...move forward.

Welcome to the forum - it is a great place for information and support. Since you are long term, do a seach on "Pouch Rules for Dummies"....not that you are dummy at all, but it is a reminders to us long termers of the basic rules to get us back on track...

Default Welcome!

I'm only a few months out myself, but I've already read Pouch Rules for Dummies. Lots of good info there. You've already done an amzing job, and I give you a lot of credit for trying to get hold of things again this far out!

Default Welcome!!

Great to have you here! I know you are here for support to jump-start your weight loss, but I am excited to learn how to avoid the same pitfalls that you have identified. I am only a week out of surgery, so I have a lot to learn.

Welcome!!!
