Default Hi Bruce

Hi Bruce!
Glad you found the forum too! I was lucky enough to find it when I was reseaching prior to surgery. That had to be scary when you could not contact the doctor over the weekend. What a relief it must have been to get some answers from the forum. I'm glad you're here!

Welcome to the family Bruce!!!! This place was a God Send to me too! I was having alot of head games going on when I found this place. It has been the biggest support for me since I do not go to a local support group. I don't believe anyone should have this surgery without a support group. It's so important. I'm happy you found us. Pull up a chair and stay a while....

Default Welcome!

Welcome to the forum, Bruce! Thinner Times has been incredibly helpful as I move closer to surgery - the people here are great and there is always a wealth of information and support. I'm sure that you will enjoy getting to know your fellow Losers and soon-to-be Losers, finding information when you have questions, and sharing your own WLS wisdom and experiences with us. There is a Search feature on the top of the TT page that lets us find posts containing certain words (like "apnea" or "Blue Cross" or whatever we are looking for) - it's been really helpful for me...
