We call it the "Last Supper" syndrome. We've all done it! Eventually you may be able to have all that stuff again- but just a taste! Every summer I wait to have fried clams, the nice, big whole belly ones. A half pint today would probably make me soooooo sick- but one clam will make me happy, I'm sure!
======Had to edit- not everyone can do even a taste; we're all a bit different. Ideally, you should be able to handle a taste.

Go for it- just don't make yourself sick. Also, if you can lose a few before surgery, it will make the surgeon's job easier- less fatty liver to move out of the way. I like the idea of making it easier for the man holding the sharp objects...

Welcome to the forum family. I love your screen name. I take duet prenatal vitamins, they are only available by prescription, and B-12 shots once a month.

I went back to work at two weeks and was ready for it.You certainly could go back it you had an office job.Depends on how you feel.Take it easy and get ready for the ride of your life.Barb
