Hi everyone,

I just discovered this forum. I'm an American living who has been living in Sweden for 8 years and counting.

It's been 7 weeks since my gastric bypass. So far, I've lost 35-40 lbs.

Not sure what else to say in this message. Just wanted to say hello.

Congratulations on your weight loss thus far. There are a lot of really great folks out here with a wide range of experiences. In regards to your other post, I think it's pretty normal to go through a wide range of emotions. Your body is healing, changing, and what you're eating/not eating has changed drastically. In my opinion, I think it will just take a little time to adjust. Keep your chin up and keep coming back here. Like I said there are a lot of folks here that will help support you and help answer questions.

I am a Canadian living in Berlin for about 18 months - before that, I was living in Brussels for 2 years. So nice to see a fellow European on here. I am going through the process of all the testing right now and I am hoping to have a surgery date for sometime in July or August.
