Default Surgery date moved

Nope, not June. Things were happening way too fast for me (required tests, office visits, etc) and the stress was becoming too much. Besides, my 9-year old granddaughter will be here (from Utah) 6/20-7/31 and I don't think it would be wise to have surgery while she's here.

So now it's August 2nd which is way better for me in many, many ways. I feel good about the change and I'm not feeling all stressed out.

Thanks to all for the warm welcome!

Default Your new surgery date

You have to look out for yourself and do what is best and if June is moving too quick for you than postponing it is the right thing to do. At least you were able to get a date just a couple of months away instead of having to wait for 6 or more months. Best of luck with everything, glad you are watching out for yourself and thinking everything through, this is not something anyone should rush into.

Welcome!
We are a close-knit chosen family, mostly functional, and if not, we put the fun in dysfunction! It's really cool here, smart, savvy folks with good hearts and great humor. We have all or about to have similar surgeries, and our outcomes are as diverse as each of us. If you are interested, you can navigate through archived threads--the big ones are generally a great source of information, both timely and topical!

OT--Hey Jenbear! Did I read that you are still waiting for a date? Or do I need glasses? Do you need Michelle???? Seriously, I know you got approved, but I never heard what date was being tapped for your day, and I don't want to miss it.
