Default Me

Hi guys! I've posted a few things but I wanted to REALLY intruduce myself and get to know you better. I work at a job where I'm constantly in front of the computer so it'll really be nice to have a portable support group ) I'm 23 years old and I live in Nashville TN. I'm having the RNY done on June 4th. I should really get around to posting a picture that would be a good first step but I'm so used to hiding behind my computer I don't even know if pictures of me exist. I've been large all of my life so I don't really know what normal feels like.... It'll be nice to find out. I haven't found a more informative site than this one.... believe me I've looked....and you guys just about cover anything. It's nice to know if I have any questions (no matter how strange) I have somewhere to go.

Smile welcome

HI there Jamie,
Welcome to our group. I am looking forward to your journey. Sending many blessings and prayers you way. Put on your seat belt as this is a roller coaster ride you will never forget... oh and start thinking thin, I know it sounds strange. Just start preparing your mind, body and soul for those drastic changes is looks, size and the way you feel about things. it'll be great.

Welcome Jamie! If you don't have pictures--take some! You will be so glad you did once you are on the losing side. What if you're trying to explain to someone that never knew as MO what a transformation you've undergone? Pictures are truly worth taking, no matter how painful they are to look at now. We all know and understand this.

Good luck on your journey!
